Through my work, I strive to contribute to positive change in policies, behaviors and thinking.

My approach to communication starts with a clear articulation of purpose, and brings together human-centered storytelling and evidence-based argumentation to move audiences to action. It is grounded in a nuanced understanding of global trends, their historical underpinnings and their implications for human rights and sustainable development.

I've worked with UN agencies for over a decade, and before that, in academic reference publishing. I studied modern Eastern European history, and have an abiding interest in the evolving narratives that shape our beliefs and actions, reverberating across time and space – and back into the stories we tell.
